I wouldn't want this one to be official, as Magikarp to Gyarados is intentionally super drastic on purpose, but I like the idea, lol. A big ass huge fierce fucking Magikarp, and a fucking cute little Gyarados...great concept!

I kind of give Magikarp a pass when it comes to evolution. It's jarring as fuck, but I think that was the point. it also references the fish going into a waterfall and transforming into a dragon.

Honestly, I've never really been all that clever with names. I would see it being as like Charmander-Charmeleon-Charizard evolution--the names all being pretty similar to each other (but not to the point of being identical).
