They are stunning, and are very different in terms of scenes. Its very exciting if your a fan of the films, its like reading a directors cut of the film haha

Just downloaded the first book... Surely I'll find inspiration for my illustrations!

The version I found doesn't have those details, not in the front pages nor the back. But as I understand, it says in some sites that Universal Studios bought the rights to the novel. Hope this is useful to you.

Could you do me a random favour. Can you have a look in the prolog and see who currently owns the rights to the book? I'm debating on creating an illustrated version of the novel and release it online, but I need to know where I need to pay royalties

The Nublar dinosaurs in Micheal Critons books don't have feathers, but if I do others I'll add feathers

I'm not sure, have you done anything with Carnotaurus, Delophosaur, or Terror Birds yet?

I have a carnotaur in a picture called the sound of rain, but I haven't done anything with a Dilophosaurus or Terror birds yet. Dilo is my next modelling challenge

here's an idea if you do ever decide to do terrorbirds.
whit if it was 2/3 terrorbirds chasing down someone riding on horseback? maybe 2 adults and one slightly younger so it's like a small family group or something.

I love these pieces you have been doing, shows the wonder and how you may see them on display in a near natural environment. Did you base the coloration of the Tyrannosaurs off of the Jurassic Park novel description?

Yes, all of these have been based off the novel rather than the film. Thats why there are 2 Rex's, the smaller one on the foreground and the larger in the background Im glad you like them. I want to make use of the model I made before I move on and make another, so maybe one or two more rex pictures yet... If I can think of any more scenes lol, any ideas? (preferably with them inside their cages)

I thought it was smaller that the other one! Oh great I would love to see more of the rexes (probably can tell by my profile picture). Instantly I thought of Regis description of the big one looking out over her concrete moat into the sauropod paddock, waving little arms in fury... or the Little Rex quickly between the cars before the main road attack, only to be seen as a quick blur because of the lightning strike

Damn you know your book! Rare to find a fan these days, all anyone talks about is Jurassic World (which, if Im honest, I wasn't a fan of)

I try to read them yearly, I just actually finished the first book (again) last week. I do love Jurassic World, but there are obvious things that could be improved.

I just think with more time and budget and one or two more rewrites it could have been great.

I am hoping that JP5/JW2 has a bigger budget and the success of fans reactions to the physical effects in The Force Awakens, that we will see more animatronic Dinosaurs!

Same, but I'm worried that they will think, 'why put any more money into it, we made so much last time and that was on a small budget'

Ah yes, but that was because it was a 'risk' project and even then $150m is a good budget for a project, but I predict a jump to $200m for the sequel.
