Hey JD, been a while. I was wondering, who owns the copyright to TIPHON? I’ve gotten out of my artist’s block and I wanted to know so I could put the name in the description of any I post about it.

I think I might have a name for this place and it fits perfectly with it, considering the prison contains a titan. Tartarus, primordial of Day, Night, Sleep & Death and the prisons of the true Titans

Aviary:
Code Green (not dangerous)
- Jellyfloats: Flying Jellyfish that can grow to enormous sizes. They generally feed on particles in the higher atmosphere caught in storm clouds and will follow them around. After one was hit by a plane, it was found to have eggs. They were taken to the TIPHON for study. When they were born, they had to be kept in a depressurized enclosure.
- Xixi Zhi Yu: Litteral flying fish from China. The last ones were found and transported to TIPHON as they were found to have incredible healing properties which have since advanced medicine tenfold in the last 20 years. they are very playful and love to 'swim' around people in huge shoals. they can also sense when someone is ill.
Code Blue (somewhat dangerous)
- Gryphon: Some of the last breeding pairs of Gryphons left in the world. Hunted to near extinction in the middle ages. They are incredibly smart with mental association comparable to a dolphin. They were transported to TIPHON after they were rescued from drug cartels mansion in the middle east. Though naturally predators, they never attack humans.
- Thunderbird: The last of its kind, the silvery-blue bird has a wingspan of 25 feet. Caught by poachers in the Mexican desert, it was rescued at taken to TIPHON. Though temporamental, they giant bird
Code Red (dangerous)
- Tooth Fairy (Amazonian Enamel Pixie): Dangerous creatures that eat teeth and bone. They hunt in flocks and can tear flesh off an animal in minutes, eating the bones leaving only a pile of flesh. They are named 'Tooth Fairies' as they go for the mouth and head first.
- Ropen: Closely related to Pterosaurs except they have hundreds of large needle-like teeth and are very vicious. They are usually found in the Amazon.
Code Black (Incredibly dangerous)
- The Mothman: Known for appearing after great tragedy's, the truth is they tend to cause them. They have low forms of hypnotic/telepath tendencies that force people to do irrational and dangerous things. When people are killed in the resulting panic, they steal away a victim to feast on, usually children. In TIPHON, they two they have are within soundproof enclosures and all controls are monitored by an AI. In 1982, a man became under the influence of one of them and opened a large amount of the enclosure doors, with many people dying in the process. After the incident, Mothmen where put on the Blacklist.
- Harpy: Extremely intelligent birds that have faces that resemble humans. They tend to set traps for anyone who dares enter their enclosure and work as a team to quickly kill them. They learn extremely fast and have many times figured out how to break locks, cut power and fool sensors. They also appear to enjoy killing for sport. They were found in Greece after massacring an entire village.

I created this whilst on my masters as part of a project, but I'd love to write a novel one day or build a game.
There are thousands of people working and living in TIPHON. Many are the top of their fields in engineering, science, zoology, Biology, medicine, you name it.
It was created in 1931 by President Roosevelt and Nicolas Tesla. It was and still is the largest and most expensive man-made structure in America. TIPHON's massive construction was hidden under the disguise of the Hoover Dam, however, the Dam also powers TIPHON and was Teslas most ambitious invention of his lifetime. It was first proposed by Tesla to Roosevelt when he was secretly incorporated into the United States Para-Military Program (a division that covered up attacks and often hunted paranormal creatures). Teslas convinced the President that, for the safety of all and advancement of the world that TIPHON was built to study and learn from these amazing creatures, rather than simply destroying them.
I was created as a place for scientists to study the rarest and most misunderstood creatures and phenomena on the planet, along with keeping the general population of the planet safe. Most of the human ingenuity, intelligence, and forward thinking comes from the simple truth 'We are safe, we are smart, we are the top of the food chain'. If the public knew these dangers existed (many of which we are ill equipt to handle) our world would grind to a halt. Plus, some of the world greatest advancements and technology has come from the study and containment of these creatures. 40% of military tax is spent on TIPHON, in exchange, the things learnt here are trickled back down into society.
It is run by the United Nations, and though it's on US soil is deemed an international restricted space. Also known as Area 52, the TIPHON (based on the mythological god Typhon, creator of monsters).
Its existence is higher than top secret. So much so that even the President of the United States doesn't know of its existence (nor do many world leaders) as they are deemed 'temporary staff'.
