Another update on my map project - this one's in the "civilized" lands of Aldrina, where an industrial revolution has brought this part of the world infrastructure, Internet, and baristas.

Here you can see some of the political lines of the nations that developed in this western part of the continent. The country to the northeast of that sea is known as "Mida," former seat of the now defunct Midan Empire, which once controlled this whole region and beyond.

Now, the ruins of the empire provide a foundation upon which new cities and countries have been built. Fun fact: Midan Empire? Totally based on Rome. Boom. Stolen. Take that, Rome
