By request... and because I had the images lying around from the last lightning bug girl tutorial.
As usual, feedback appreciated. I'd love to hear your own tips and tricks, as well as requests and suggestions for other tutorials. Enjoy!

Amazing! Not only did you show us the step-by-step process you used including the mistakes that can be made, but you showed us how to correct them, as well as putting in other styles~! I just love the way you explained yourself in this tutorial. I'm new to Photoshop coloring, and I really appreciate tutorials that go to such great lengths to be clear and complete. Here is my own eye tutorial I made, if anyone wants to look at it, which I doubt. X_x
I used one of Julie's linearts, and the method I used is slightly different, but the effect is beautiful anyway! ^_^

hey I really like your tutorial...but I have a question...you use like photoshop...and I do that too...but I don't really get which brushes you use...because you get a totally different effect from me O.o;;
Could you please tell me how I should set my brushes???
Like in the second step you said a large brush with 0% hardness...but where do I set that? as I couldn't find that option

Go to brush options... it should be a slider that says "hardness" ^^
