Background
Before the Clone wars, Halrek was a member of militia forces, that fight against their planets ruling, pro-Republic oligarchy, until Jedi defeated them. Halrek wounded and had to put a cybernetic implants in his body and half of his head were covers at mask. This made him hate the Jedi and the Republic. Later he became fanatical military officer of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, led by Count Dooku.

Clone Wars began in 22 BBY. Year later, Halrek command Droid army in Dantooine, that fight against Mace Windu's 187ht Legion. Republic was first victorious, but then Separatist Weapon division sent Halrek a weapon, that can change the course of the battle - a seismic tank. When the battle is at its worst, Halrek arrived whit tank and dropped its driver and smashed the forces below, destroying droids and clone troopers alike. In the confusion, Windu lost his lightsaber and was forced to fight a number of droids unarmed. While tank continue smashed battle field, Halrek ordered his droids to to direct the nearest Republic hold city, so he can destroy it.

Meanwhile, Mace Windu recover his lightsaber and fought his way into the tank. he cut his way in and disabled the seismic driver. Pilot droid inform this problems to Halrek, who also got fragmented messages from OOM security droids about intruder. In anger, Halrek order commander droid OOM-676, his subcmmander to find an intruder and fix the problem. OOM-676 left whit one security droid, but 30 second later, door open again and OOM-676 remain parts flew to the holodeck. Halrek turn, and saw a Jedi front a door. Halrek draw his gun quickly - he was wast drawer- but Windu was waster and cut Halrek in half. The last thing Halrek saw, was how his legs was cut off, while his upper body fly into air before hit the floor. After that, Windu push the crew out the window, and knocked out the controls. Flying clear, Windu watched on as the seismic tank smashed into the ground and exploded. After he landed, a small boy gave him a bottle of water. The battle was won.
