Description
A set of digits inspired by Nixie tubes . I spent most of the development time experimenting to figure out what should I do in the first place; as a result some bits (*cough*2*cough*) are less than perfect. One day Real Soon Now I’m going to redo everything from scratch, hence the 1.0 designation. The electrode order was directly lifted from the Wikipedia example , with the exception of the anode (this mesh thingy) being moved to the front. Some of the digits (like 8 which is at the very top and has no other cathodes in front of it) looked really naked otherwise. Everything was done in Gimp with not a single vector in sight.

Also! I want to make a tutorial describing my process. If I still haven’t posted it by — say — January 2016, feel free to yell at me.

The download contains PNG images (transparent background) for digits 0-9 plus a dot, the XCF (Gimp) work files, and PSD conversions of unknown quality.
