A single and larger picture of the dragon previously posted...remember, there's not a touch of paint on this thing. It's all clay! His name is Azul. He is mounted on Azurite and gold leaf. he took 6 months to create and has over 80 shades of clay........The azurite is from an old mine here near Tucson, Arizona.....Related content

ohhh I can sooooo imagine how much work that was 
just one question: have you done the "mixed" colors with just "intuition" how the color should look or was it measured like 1:3 ratio for that color and 1:2 for another one and so on? XD

Wow, no pant at all? Amazing, real talent here. Im quite envious haha! Im pretty curious though, how do you do it? Like, decided what clay to use for which shades, keeping the sclulptures form while keeping colors smooth, ect. Keep up the great work!

I've discovered I can get over 4000 shades of clay out of the 30 original colors. It takes a long time, but the results is really high def.....thanks for asking, jss (call me jack)
