OH NOES. A COMIC.
This came to me while watching Legends of Metru Nui. Why would Vakama just stand there and let Lhikan call him names? If I were him, I would've informed Lhikan on how FLIMSY his instructions were, and how irrational it was to think that everyone knows what the "heart of Metru Nui" is.
...maybe thats why I haven't been chosen to become a Toa yet...

I had such a hard time with the lighting of this comic...and that is obviously visible with Vakama. I don't know what it is, but his coloring jobs always came out funny looking. Stupid Vakama >:\.
...and if you think its easy drawing a side profile of any bionicle character you are WRONG. >_<

Funny thing is, the Set Vakama had no orange Piece in it, the Movie Vakama had Orange in his Armor and Turaga Vakama, the Original Vakama, is full orange. Hm.

Actually, the Toa went searching for the Great Disks so they could be used to destroy the Morbuzakh, but they obviously didn't have time to fit something that took two whole books into this movie.
While we're on the topic, since the Great Disks were so effective against the Morbuzakh, why did the Toa use them against the Krahka, especially since they were apparently too exhausted to use their elemental powers after their fight with the Morbuzakh.
Vakama: Don't blame me! When I woke up, all I worried about was making the Mask of Time with the few **** disks available to Matoran!
Matau: Yeah, it's not our fault we don't know what the hell we're doing!

Lhikan is still great, being one of the few trained Toa we actually see in the series beyond the Mata/Nuva, but most of the bad stuff that happened in the series isΒ kind of his fault. Dude, first of all, you didn't realize who the bad guy was after he sent all of your Toa friends off to die? Second, you couldn't figure out how to call in reinforcements? Third, couldn't you have told more than six of some of the most clueless people in the city about your crackpot theories? I mean...for Mata Nui's sake, leave a frakking note or something that's not so freaking vague!

Actually, when you understand the situation in Metru Nui at this time, Lhikan being Metru Nui's heart isn't too far fetched, the city was on the brink of chaos due to Dume being replaced by Makuta Teridax, meaning that Lhikan was not only the city's sole defender, he dealt with the day to day affairs that Dume should've. Metru Nui loved Lhikan, as evidenced by the statue built in his honour in the colosseum, and a lot of Matoran fear what would happen to them if he ever disappeared.

That is the best thing about the internet, isn't it? You can be so ashamed that you enjoy something, and then you find other, completely respectable people, who enjoy it too. And then you don't feel so alone and your existence has been validated. At least, that was my experience XD;
It did. I haven't kept up since Hero Factory took over, but I doubt it could live up to Bionicle's level of awesome.

I can't tell you how annoyed my parents got at me for going on and on about Bionicle, or how relieved they must have been when that last generation came around, and I sort of outgrew it XD And yeah, to me, you're one of those respectable peopl, so yays for common ground XD I'm thinking about digging those things up and trying to draw them, or atl least see if I can find original drawings I did like five years ago XDD Shame? EVERY time I watch Legends of Metru Nui, I make (less humorous) comments along those lines. EVERY TIME. I couldn't believe it when I found this comic. It's hilarious and SO TRUE!!!
