This looks so used! The pilot had a bad day? ^^
Love the glow in the engines

Thanks! Actually I wasn't planning to weather them at all but...masking tape pulled off the bottom layer of paint so...weathering happened! lol

You get that too?
Even though, i don't have problems like this on the plastic miniatures... are you sure the primer works correctly?
Nice touch up!

Thanks. Yeah, it has something to do with the either a) ghost tint I used for some of the pre-shading and/or b) (and most likely) the tape was too tacky and I didn't adjust accordingly. Most people will place their masking tape on their pants first and then peel it off and use it because it makes it much less likely to peel the paint off. I unfortunately assumed my Tamiya masking tape was good right out the gate, not the case lol.

Ghost tint for preshading? Sounds a bit strange to me, but on the hand i don't have the same supplies as you got over there
The Tamiya one did that to you? Hmmm, i did not have any bad experiences with it... only when the model hadn't been cleaned/primed properly...

I've used two brands of masking tape and they've done it across several projects (though the Tamiya works a bit better now). I think it is for the most part the Ghost Tints. This is a type of translucent paint from the Minitaire line.

As i only use it as a color that goes on last, i cannot confirm. Maybe try to use a different color to do the preshading, and be more careful as it will be more opaque! (Even though I am sure i don't have to tell you )
