Description
This is an image of the different ages of Noatak. I originally intended this to be some sort of an animation displaying him aging from a child to an adult. But doing so wasn't as easy as I'd imagined. The reason for why I wanted to make it was because I could never quite get how he managed to change so much over the years. So I wanted to make an animation in which you could see the transition from child to teenager to adult.I have also for some time now wanted to do some Avatar: Last Airbender/Legend of Korra fan-art and to test out the art style they use in the series.
The different ages from left to right:
1st. This face is based on the youngest seen version of Noatak from the flashbacks in which he was playing with his brother, Tarrlok.
2nd. This is also from the flashbacks from the scene where he and Tarrlok exercises their new-found waterbending ability.
3nd. This is based on the last scene from the flashbacks in which Noatak bloodbends his father, Yakone to protect Tarrlok.
4th. This is what I personally imagine he might have looked like at some point in time after he had ran away.
5th. This is based on he's appearance after he revealed his face; during his time as Amon.
Noatak and the Legend of Korra is copyrighted to Nickelodeon, Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino.

i noticed that Noatak's complexion lightened when he became an adult. flashback of his childhood shows him to have the complexion of common Water Tribe people.

He hid behind a mask for many years, and never had his face out while in the sun. I don't really know.

Nice! Aging isnΒ΄t always easy to draw, but youΒ΄ve certainly managed to draw the difference between child, teen and adult

I think I prefer the first one and the middle one the most. The last one came out a bit weird in my opinion.
They do have some similar traits here and there. Yeah, they do look a little similar.

Not quite sure why it came out weird. It just feels weird to me. The colors looks kind of off, and his nose and mouth was perhaps a little to stretched.
Noatak definitely looks like a male version of Korra.
