Description
A powerful visualizer and monitoring skin that uses stereo mix and HWiNFO.Please note that both the Circular and Monitoring skins are designed for a 1440p screen. The wallpaper is large enough for 1440p as well.
The positioning of Circular is dependent upon variables defined in it's .ini
The positioning of Monitoring is dependent on the coordinates set in Rainmeter.
THIS IS A FIRST RELEASE OF A ROUGH WIP.
please consider that when you criticize. so long as it's productive, I welcome all comments.
yes, I know the code is clunky. trust me, it was a lot worse at first.
I could care less what you do with this so long as you link back to the latest release (or the release you used)
INFO ON HWiNFO MONITORING
The first "Major" bar is Total CPU usage. the next four "Minor" bars are each individual core. the last "Minor" bar is the CPU temperature, with 100 degrees centigrade as completely full. The second "Major" bar is GPU Usage. The first minor bar after is the VRAM usage, the second minor bar is GPU temperature, the third is the first VRM temp (voltage regulator temp. nice info for overclocking) the fourth is the second VRM temp, and the last is the GPU fan speed. The third Major bar is the RAM usage, followed by storage drives C through G (if the drive doesn't exist in the system it shows as full) as minor bars.
IF ANY OF THE MONITORING BARS ARE BROKEN, please refer to www.hwinfo.com/forum/Thread-Ra…
that's the thread about the plugin, and it shows you where to find the correct values for the measures in the .ini file.
readme:
1. You need HWiNFO for this to work.
www.hwinfo.com/
2. the plugin for HWiNFO is vailable in 32 and 64 bit distributions in the .rmskin download.
3. for the Circular EQ included, it listens for "stereo mix" in your recording devices.
to locate this, right-click on the volume tray icon. select recording devices.
Then right click on a blank area of the main window, and select "show disconnected devices" and "show disabled devices"
Select Stereo Mix and set it be a default device. This should not influence any other recording devices.
4. if "Stereo Mix" doesn't show up after those steps, update to your latest audio driver. That fixed the problem I had
when I originally put this together.
Thanks to Cactuar for his visualizer - which showed me how to put together a visualizer that relied on the audio output and not
a separate program.

i have been waiting for months for this and now you did it.
but can't be optimize means it requires 16% load on core i5 4gen
plz tell me if there is a way to optimize it plzzzzzzzz
AND VERY THANXXXXXXXX FOR THIS ONE
ITS MY ONE OF THE BEST RAINMETER WIDGET EVER
AND PLZ MAKE IT DRAGGABLE TOO.

I use these, settings = 0 cpu load, occasionaly it goes up to 1%
FFTSize=2048
FFTAttackSpeed=100
FFTDecaySpeed=25

hey sorry for late commenting
i was not able to test it
but now i am testing it and it makes no difference in my cpu usage can u tell me why
and how your cpu usage is at 0% load after applying this theme

I forgott to mention but I also removed the "reflect" look and made it a bit smaller could be why? or it could matter that you have a different cpu and more background programs running then me, not sure

you got be kidding me 8 to 10%
ahhh
you sure you see that right or there is mistake in it
and plz can u tell me your rainmeter version and
can U plz if u can
can u give me your audio plugin of your rainmeter
i think the only problem is audio dll

So your telling me that your cpu usage was higher then mine?
and my rainmeter version is 3.2.0 beta r2326. And if there is a probem uninstall rainmeter and then install it again

Sure thing np, I wanted to get it even smaller then I made it there but as that was quite hard I went back to the one I had to my current made skin

1. it's not optimized because it uses a high FFTSize. set FFTSize in variables to 1024 or 512, as opposed to 4096.
1,5. it's also not optimized cause it updates ever 10 milliseconds. change to update to 100 or 1000 and it should be a lot easier on your system.
2. Thanks! I'm glad you like it.
3. I'll see what I can do about making it dragable. this is my first skin, so I'm learning what I need to on the fly as I create what I want on my desktop, leading a pretty un-optimized code.

Love the visualizer, so going to implement it to my skin but in a smaller scale, as it is huge on 1080p monitor ^^, and never knew there was a plugin for Hwinfo so want to give a thanks for the code to cpu & gpu temps as my current skin used coretemp and msi afterburner, less programs running the better as I say

I should warn you, I might have made changing the size of the visualizer about as frustrating as possible :/ making that easier is on my list of things to do. but as it's the right size for my screen right now, I'm going to focus on a clock and some other stuffs.
show my how yours looks once you add it in though!

I just came across 1 thing that bothered me, the eq just freeze at the where you stop your music player/video player and stays like that, any way to change so it go away?

JTMote In reply to MaeTroX [2014-11-02 21:59:58 +0000 UTC]
That's an issue with the decay. set it to a lower number and it won't.
it's "FFTDecaySpeed" under variables. I would suggest 50-100.

Oooh, 25 seem to be the spot it now goes away straight away when I close my music player, 50 and higher it just stays there ^^

Hmm. Well, in that case I'm not sure what the problem is. I'll look into it later today when I'm back to my desktop.
