Would RD believe her? In her eyes Rarity has been annoying and 'demanding', and if Rarity told RD why she needed the money RD would think she was making a poor excuse and want proof.
That and the truest generosity is when no one knows your doing it. TO give and tell people about it lessens the giving often times. As if you hear someone say, "I give to orphans every mouth, it would more then likely come out as boosting... even if it was not needed.

While the second part may be true, I have issue with the first part. Whats wrong with wanting proof hmm? If it did come down to that, how hard is it to say ok meet me at 6 and I'll show you? Or I'm heading over there right now, come with me? Methinks you have a very skewed way of looking at RD. And as for the "In her eyes" bit, methinks you also have her mixed up with Applejack. To Dash, Rarity's simply too fashion-oriented. I've never once seen her say anything to hint at what you're talking about.

Well when Rainbow Dash is annoyed or frustrated she says things that could be taken as rude and she has been demanding.

When she's been doing something and her friends have been helping, yea she has. She was demanding with her sister, but I've never seen her be demanding with RD, excepting as I said when RD was helping her.

Yes but as far as we no RD has never borrowed money from Rarity, have it overdue by almost a mouth or so. Also consider how important getting the money is to Rarity.
On why Rarity didn't tell RD... well if you remember RD didn't really give Rarity the chance to explain. RD made the angry accusation at Rarity while she tried to explain that she needed the money before flying off in a huff.
That and there are actually those that would be embarrassed to admit to doing service for others.

You would've told me 3 months ago I'd love a little kids' show about ponies and be completely in love with a fashion diva, I'd think you were the most random raving lunatic ever.
Then when that came true (yes, Rarity is my favourite), if they'd tell me I'd love Pinkie Pie, I'd think they were out of their minds. Then when that came true (Smile smile smile happened) and they said I'd be making loads of pony art, I'd think they were claiming the improbable.
And then came that Newbie Artist Training Ground on EQD, and now I'm just out of things to call crazy
