no, I objectively reacted to a full worthless season and one of the worst movies I've seen in my life. Any of them would make me lose interest in a show, I'm not a fanboy, if something stops offering quality I leave it behind and move on.

no yo uover reacted to a bit of a sub par overall season of only thirteen episodes, though it had some really good gems in there, and let the HUMANS mmake you think it was a horrible movie. flawed movie, very much so. but just watch any michael bay movie and old super hero movie and you iwll at least appreciate that the voice acting is pretty solid sitll and so is the characterization.................. cause after a michael bay movie you will be starving to death for any characterization at all.

Ok for starters you need to chill a bit, in second place you don't get to decide what I liked or disliked about this stuff, in third place I don't waste my time or money watching Michael Bay movies and in fourth there are some amazing old super hero movies like batman, batman returns and superman two.

The point is that you and I don't see eye to eye in this stuff and that's ok, but dont go around telling me why I disliked something because you can't posibly know.

I didn't see Rainbow Rocks (nor I plan to). I still hold Twilight Sparkle as a victimof season 3, they just ruined her, everyone is pretty much up to speed but she just became so preechy that I don't like her much anymore, also I could live to be a thousand and I will never get used to those wings.

I share your concerns about Twilight, although I disagree about your general assessment of S3, which I felt was weaker but not totally godawful, and the first Equestria Girls (which I thought was merely okay). I do plan to see Rainbow Rocks eventually since everyone has said it's better than the first movie, plus it has Sunset Shimmer, who I've come to like far more than Twilight.

Twilight has definitely become preachier, but her Princesshood has nothing to do with it; honestly, she's always had that "I'm better than you" air about her. I would have turned against her even if they hadn't slapped a pair of wings on. For me, the problems really became noticeable during A Canterlot Wedding, where she acted like a complete jackass even before she learned the truth, but the narrative twisted itself into a pretzel to prove her right (again) and excuse her terrible behaviour.

I didn't agree with how they Ascended Twilight. By that I mean I believe doing so was inevitable and thus correct, but they did it too soon. Plus, I felt that they once Twi got elevated above her friends, they should have cut back on her appearances, maybe sent her off to Canterlot and let another Unicorn take her place most of the time. Maybe Trixie or new old girl Sunset Shimmer. She works best either in an advisory role (Twilight Time, Testing), or as the overpowered saviour of the universe (Twilight's Kingdom), neither of which really fit her official title as main character in a slice-of-life series.

I actually felt like the whole season 4 was them trying to fix the way they jumped the gun with her on season three, and they had to waste a lot of time showing she doesn't really feel like a princess and that the whole thing was kind of forced and pointless. So in the end she really does something worthy of her title and the show can move on from that point. Even so it's a waste of a season for her because they spend time on her earning the title that could have been used on her evolving as a character.

At this point I wouldn't mind her being removed as a support character but they are not gonna do that, even though I thoughly agree that a know it all semi godess is not a good character to lead a slice of life comedy show. all I know is that the next time one of the mane six grows new apendages I'm quiting the show for good.

.......... really? and how wasn't she preachy before? she HAS tried to boss people around before, or at least guide them. now she kinda has a  better sense for advice and guiding.

besides she may be an alicorn but her strength, her true strength, comes from her friends. and she is sitll a bit of a dork.

before she had layers of personality and flaws, in fact she was my favorite of the six, now all she does is act like a saint and tell others how to fix their problems in a way that drives me crazy, and she had like one scene where she acted like the dork I used to like, other than that the character is pretty much ruined for me. If you still like it is ok, but to me she is pretty annoying now.

first appearance, freaks out over her potential responsiblities to the point of bumping her head on the cieling.
twilight time episode, munches on like a half dozen burgers in a way that would have made rarity faint dead away.
awkwardly reacts to the attention she gets at the rainbow falls trade festival. does not know better than to let pinkie pie try to trade off her books.
goes full of geek over daring do.
joyfully wears a horrible cheerleading costume during the entries for the equestria games.

she may have matured a bit but what you are seeing, is not there.

I feel the same about Twilight, and I get annoyed by people who deny it. I don't care if someone likes the new Twilight, I just wish they wouldn't act like she's the same old Twilight. I also wish the people who like the new Twi wouldn't harshly criticize those who didn't like Magical Mystery Cure or Twilicorn.

I don't care for the wings either. I generally avoid all art that depicts her with them.

Pinkie Pie' episodes are what really sold season 4 for me as a good season.

Well, this is a prelude fancomic, so as we know from Season 4 (provided this remains within the boundaries of canon, which I believe will be the case), Maud Pie will be alright in the end!

That doesn't necessarily mean everything will be okay.

We have no idea what Maude will be like when she wakes up.
How much like her sister she was before she... did this.
How much of her lacking emotions were part of a broken mare.
How much it really, truly did hurt Pinkie to think her friends wouldn't be friends with Maude...

... because that's why she tried to kill herself before.
