SO Luna agreed to send her own guards to capture bearers of elements of harmony and comply with enemy demands ?
Why do mane 6 always get the last point of the stick, they risked their lives to save Equestria several times and almost no pony beside Shining Armor and Cadence ever helped them, and now Luna is ready to send her own guards to capture them, come on, I understand that Luna have no choose, but is not this kind of plot a bit to harsh, there was a hostage situation used and Celestia got captured, now it is used again and element bearers are being betrayed, and in later chapter it is used again and Twilight surrener to enemy. What next, they use hostage to get Luna or use hostages to take over Equestria ?
Now I understand that this plot is dark and works well, but I just feel that mane 6 always do all the dirty work and never get proper assistance, respect and are never being thanked properly for their job, and it just seems mean that after saving Equestria and Crystal Empire, after all they did without much assistance, being betrayed by Equestria who want to sacrefice them to save itself is a bit unfair.
I wish this comics would actually give other ponies to help mane 6 without Twilight using blackmail against doctor in fear that he would not help her otherwise. When will Luna actually do something useful in this story, will Cadence even appear in it, will Equestria own guards actually fight against enemy instead of betraying ponies who saved their country few times ? Will hostage situation stop being used as an easy way to win for the villains ?

A lot of that has a reason; a reason I won't go into yet due to spoilers.
Here's what I can say...
A hero is not a symbol to be spoiled, but someone who does good; often in spite of themselves.
I don't imagine the Mane 6 would want to be protected while the world around them died.
They already have hostages; as many as were effected by the spell, and Celestia to boot.
Twilight surrenedered because while there's a chance she could beat the changeling without harming the filly, Twilight doesn't strike me as the overconfident type when it comes to confrontation; especially in the emotional turmoil she's suffering in this story.

I understand that heroes want to sacrifice their own good for the sake of others, but the fact that they do not get assistance or even are being betrayed by those they protect seems unfair.
For example, royal guards were useless to stop changeling invasion when mane 6 beat 100 of them, and here they will most likely try to capture mane 6 and send them to enemies hand.
Luna guards did nothing as well, and here they will hunt mane 6 on Luna's order.
Celestia and Luna are the most powerful being on good side, and they never did anything useful, and here Celestia end up as prisoner and Luna is useless because of HOSTAGES.
I get the feelings that hostages became deux ex machina for the villains, they can do everything they want and get away with it, kind of make me wonder why no other villain ever used hostages to make Celestia and Luna surrender in the past.
Beside, without element bearers, elements are useless, and yet mane 6 are not protected. What if one of element bearers die, who would stop Discord or other super evil from taking over or destroying the world ?
Celestia and Luna move sun and the moon, and as much as I think that with all their powers they should take more risks then mane 6 who are far more vulnerable and do not have army on their command, but giving up to enemy is like giving up the only poneis who can control sun and the moon ( if they die, world die with them ).
Long story shot, after everything mane 6 did for Equestria, after Luna, Celestia and all guards in Equestria always being useless, now they are betraying mane 6 ( they must capture them and give to enemy or else hostages die ) seems unfair.
And do I need to mention that hostages situation often end up with villain gets what he want, and he kill hostage anyway, it is a lose to lose game where hereos who did so much get no help in return and even get betrayed by those they protect.
