Still trying to figure out how you did the ropes wrapped around the mammoth's tusks...

Cool concept.
Is that an AA gun on the mammoth at the back? Cool.

It's glorious as usual, but it doesn't quite feel cold as I think it should with the snow. I'm not really one to talk, as my snow effects are usually pretty lackluster, though.

I was going to say fallout, but something about this style really didn't match Fallout's design characteristics. Β Really, wonderful job on this pose, the use of animals as opposed to actual machines is never really used, but you have made it look so amazing. Β I especially like the armor of car doors. Β I saw that and kind of laughed.

i think you were inspired by bethesda's other game fallout. since they have animals in that game too that they also use ask pack mules.
im surprised they didnt have this in skyrim... instead the only 'caravans' that you see in the game are cat people walking around...being cat people

I thnk you mean Bethesda's Fallout 3, the sequel to Interplay's Fallout 1 and 2.
But no, that wasn't the source of my inspiration.

But I agree about the caravans. They sucked. They should have at least have horses with bunch of luggage. Like the brahmin in their Fallout 3.

I had no idea people created such things only with videogame models. Sounds like a lot of work, especially if you don't want the games to be too obvious.
Cool stuff!

Yup, that's Garry's Mod for you. There's somewhere between one and two hundred models in there. All placed 'by hand' in front of a virtual camera, into forced perspective.

Mammoth. Mastodon had a short hair, mammoth had a long hair.
But these are just fantasy mammoths.

Yus. I love mosin-nagant. Especially with the bayonet, its length is kinda reminiscent of the early modern period.

You have to be a bit more specific than that. There are about a little bit over hundred different models in it.

Oh, sorry.
The human and weapon models to be specific, mainly the male models for humans, I know the females are from the metro last light citizen pack im pretty sure though.

Oh right, and the AK barely visible in the hands of the hooded guy behind the mammoth is from a Black ops weapon pack that Rin uploaded into the workshop.

One quarter of the male models are from the metro last light citizens pack. Another quarter are Metro 2033 stalkers that Ninjanub gave me for alpha testing and so is the guy in the black leather coat.
The shotgun the guy in the black is wielding and the rifle the woman on the right carries are from a Metro 2033 gun pack. The mosin nagants with bayonets, the maxim machinegun and the PPSH-41 the man on the right has are from Red Orchestra 2. The shotgun and the stick the woman herding the cows has equipped and the blade the man in the foreground carries are from Fallout New Vegas. Last but not least, the big anti-aircraft cannon is from a Cod 4 vehicle pack.
