This is probably my favorite aspen scene from my trip. I just love backlit leaves and the curves in these foreground trees were just right. This was taken a few miles from Aspen, CO.Related content

In November you'll be very hard pressed to find any hints of autumn in Denver, but with the passing of fall it will be time to break out the skis and snowshoes for some winter fun! Enjoy your move to Denver.

No flash on this one. In fact, I caught this just minutes before the sun dropped behind a mountain...so there was no time for a tripod or much of anything. Just compose and fire away!

Aspen trees really transmit a lot of light...more so than many other species that are familiar to me. That certainly helps to balance the exposure. Thanks for looking!
