Dawn was slow to come, but eventually it blazed through the foggy pinewoods. I was running all over the place trying to get a clean view into the tree...something big was always in my way. Eventually I found my spot!Related content

Had a similar compostition issue in some woods near me not so long ago, all came togather though.

Thanks for viewing my work! I'm so glad that you've enjoyed some of my photographs. There is really nothing special in the details for this particular photograph. I just exposed properly for a really grand scene that unfolded in front of me last month. It's often a matter of being prepared and then placing yourself in position (right time, right place) for great things to happen!

Thanks once again for the reply fella! I know what you mean about the right time right place, I've several places in mind right now, that I am just waiting for the right season to roll around so the sun is in the right place etc. I drive/hike by them at least every week or so to check
