Part 13: Favourite Ghost Type (13... Ghost... hmmm)Anyway, dedicated to the Gengar that was with me in my FRLG and ORAS days. My FRLG Gengar had been in my team since I caught him at the Pokemon Tower, he was really useful being my status support. I like giving him the Hypnosis, Dream Eater and Nightmare combo, it made me feel... powerful. Admittedly, that combo does fall into the awesome but impractical territory because Hypnosis has rather mediocre accuracy. Thankfully, that wasn't a thing when I got into competitive battling in Gen 6 with ORAS. This Gengar, Phase, was more versatile and reliable as both a sweeper and support. He has Will O Wisp to cripple physical opponents and Hex to make use of that burn status. Couple those with Sludge Bomb and Substitute and Phase could take care of himself for the most part.
