I know this is late but i just watched Oblivion. When I saw the Tet scene, I felt the urge to paint something.Somehow I feel that this film as a Portal-ish feel to it. Maybe it's just me.

wow. This particular picture right here. This picture, I don't know why, but it's one of my favorites. It actually reminds me of how I view things in my books, almost exactly in the same style. If I ever get serious about publishing a book, and I need a truly spectacular cover, you'll be the first I ask.

I admit I felt that portal-y feel too when watching it. Maybe it was the blue and white and orange and black color schemes? Those are big colors in the portal universe.

i think it was the fact there was that god-like AI and plus the drones that look like those AI cores in Portal. And the plot which revolves around people who has no memory and is kept repeating procedures by an AI, just like Chell who is asked to keep doing tests.

That too. The drones do look like the cores now that I think about it. Only much more dangerous, and shooty.

perhaps i will in the future. i actually used the Pen tool from photoshop to create the shape. that's pretty much how i get the hard edges.

This kinda reminds of an old Star Trek episode, "For the World Is Hollow And I Have Touched The Sky." Great episode! Watch it and you'll see why. Could easily be concept art if the decided to use it for the new stuff.

there's only 1 AI... in the movie the AI took the personality of a female with a female voice. although I believe the AI is capable of emulating any being depending on the situation. you should go watch it
