We descended deep below the Prime Citadel. Far deeper than the abandoned complexes of the old city buried beneath the capital. The sight that greeted me next struck me with awe... a massive cavernous chamber that went as far as my eyes can see. Immediately before us was a perfectly straight causeway that led into a colossal pyramid-like structure far ahead of us. As I stepped forward onto the causeway, it was then I glimpsed the sheer unimaginable scale of the Hierarchy's production of weapons of mass destruction. The empowered black monoliths numbered perhaps in the billions... no perhaps even trillions; I don't know... nestled in the vast emptiness on either side of the causeway. Above us, more black monoliths slowly descended and arranged themselves in a well orchestrated, yet hypnotic movements as they came down on the stacks. An electric blue haze blanketed the stacks halfway through, which prevented me from seeing the depths of the void below us. This haze I thought, must have been Cherenkov Radiation emanating from the monoliths. The Hierarchy could produce these weapons infinitely I was told. But the highlight of our visit here was not for these but rather, what lies within the pyramid.

I engaged my Sigil to protect me from potential radiation exposure. My companion on the other hand, had no need for such protection. He sensed it and understood. Our presence in this realm are joined by a clandestine group of local "collaborators", allowing us to operate discreetly without our true identities being unmasked. Hence our possession of high level Sigils enabling us to blend in. Our survival depends on them. If our disguises were to fail, or if the Hierarchs caught wind of our presence on this world, I cannot fathom what horrors would fall upon all of us. But that is why we need to work quickly and return to Earth. Even I am apprehensive with the amount of trust we put on our collaborators. We do not know their true intentions. Their minds are far too bizarre and alien for us to comprehend. For all we know, they could be using us... or all this could simply be a ploy and the Hierarchy already know we are among them.

I shudder to think any further.
