“Did it work?!”
“Of course it did. Almost everything that RPS does works, and Lyo found a great way to keep this lady’s head held high”, said Sara and handed Kei the reins. The last time Kei had ridden the mare she had had sore arm muscles for nearly a week, just because Angel had had her head way down and was hanging on the bit.
“I have worked with her with her cookies hanging above her head for some time now, but today we will remove them. Here you have a cookie.” Sara handed a cookie to Kei who accepted it and placed it in her pocket. “As long as she knows there is a cookie onboard, she will behave.”

Just as Sara had predicted, Weeping Angel was way easier to work with. Her former habit of hanging on the bit was almost gone and she held her head high, trying to locate the cookie which was aboard.
Kei tried to jump the mare and everything went fine. She collected the reins and Angel stopped immediately.
“It’s such a huge change, she is wonderful to work with now,” cheered Kei and bend over Angels neck and handed her the cookie, which she ate with delight.
“I think she is ready to start compete,” said Sara. “And you will ride her.”
“Am I?” Kei dropped her jaw. “Thank you, Sara. You will not regret it.”
“I am sure I won’t.”
“Just remind me to give Lyo a big fat hug the next time I see him!” said Kei and laughed.

How I love this mare! She is so colorful and beautiful! I have never drawn her from this side, so it was exciting to try this out
