EDIT:
TAKE THESE TUTORIALS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT PLEASE. I made them years ago in the hopes of showing others how I drew these animals at the time. THE ANATOMY IS WAY OFF. You guys are more than welcome to use this as a baseline for how to start drawing using simple shapes to sketch first, but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE use REAL pictures of the animals you're attempting to draw as reference! Do NOT follow these tutorials step by step on how to draw the most anatomically correct figure. These get crazy views and faves TO THIS DAY. I don't want to be spreading misinformation. With that said, I plan on updating all of these at some point in the future.

Hey I'm new to dA and I had a go at drawing a wolf using your tutorial, but just after I submitted it my friend told me I wasn't supposed to use the same pose. I'm sorry and I hope you don't mind

Well, it's not necessarily copying. Yes you used the same pose, but that's not copying or even stealing. There are only so many poses that exist, there are bound to be more than one person doing the same pose anyway XD But just as long as I get credit where it's due, you're doing nothing wrong ^^

I was just going to say that the back should be just a smidge bigger. It's more stick like and skinnier than a cats which you did very nicely
