OKAY. SO THIS IS THE CHARACTER REFERENCE. (it's all for =Endling 's tournament by the way) This is my OC. The following is the information I couldn't fit on the picture >_>

Eleanor is a Necromancer, from a guild of scholars. She was born in the forest, and lived in a house in a tree with her father (a giant lizard) and her grandparents and aunts and uncles. (Growing up in the forest is why she can climb trees really well). She's generally nice by nature- a little gruff and sometimes sullen, but at heart she's the motherly type and if she can help someone, she'll try. She is very hard to get angry, and even harder to incite to actually want to kill you. Of course, being a necromancer, when she DOES, watch out. She's married to another necromancer (as pictured) who she loves very very much.

She is somewhat absentminded, occasionally rather clumsy, and not very good at talking to random strangers. She has a bad habit of gnawing on her right knuckle when she's nervous or stressed.

IF SHE WERE IN A FIGHTING GAME
her stats would go a bit like this:

SPD: * *
STR: * * *
AGL: *
DEF: * *
SPE: * * * * *

In words, this means that she's not very fast and crap at dodging. She also isn't very good at blocking attacks (though she CAN take a fair amount of pain). She is, however, quite strong, and if she actually manages to CATCH you, then you're in a lot of trouble.

Her primary sort of attack is to decay your flesh. The longer she holds on to you, the further you rot. Her abilities concern the channeling of Life Essence- that's what her eyes are glowing with up there. The bigger the attack, however, the more she spends, and the weaker she gets. She can recharge either by passively absorbing environment Essence, or by eating a mortal heart. Yum!

SOME EXAMPLES OF HER ABILITIES

DECAY: manipulates your essence to damage your mortal form. Not too difficult to do.
SENSE: If she concentrates, she can see traces of life-essence. Good for dark areas or low visibility!
SHROUD: Can hide herself and become quite difficult to spot. She doesn't bother doing this often though.
SUMMON: She can summon chaos entities to do her bidding. Accomplished necromancers can summon many powerful entities. She only has about three or four not-so-powerful ones because she spent her time studying insects instead of learning how to summon >_>

aaand she can do a few other necromantic bits and bobs, but she's far from all-powerful. Generally, she tries not to get into conflict. Though if she's in a nasty mood, you might not be so lucky.
