He wondered if he has enough power in himself to sew his broken pieces back together, like how Graves used to with his hands. And after Grindelwald, he knows he has enough power to rip the world. He just didn’t know if its enough to fix it.
Obscurus-Credence! The eye glow thing was way cool and I had wanted to draw that ever since I saw the movie.

He's been through so much. Sincerely hope he won't go back to G. As he would only use him and abuse his feelings again. Hope he'll find Newt or Tina as they really would care about him.

Newt'd be good, he's use to comfort wounded creatures and after all, humans are creatures like any other. In the script though, it is said that Credence trusts Tina and that she is the only person ever to have offered him true simple affection and comfort (as opposed to his cold hearted stepmom or Grave's confusing hot/cold behaviour I guess). Anyways, the way things seem to be going at the end of the film, Tina and Newt seem on their way to become one couple so Credence would get two loving relative instead of none, a definite improvement that'd help him reconstruct himself and find a better man than G. (or woman if he's into both, who cares, love has no gender)

Its canon Newt and Tina are supposed to end up together but I don't really get that feel in the movie, maybe they're drawing it out for all five films. I'll love it if Credence or somebody goes and look for Modesty and adopts her, actually I can see Credence doing that, like in the movie he's a survivor, I can see his submissive posture as an act actually to make himself appear smaller and unnoticeable but its not really his true self, because I think he revealed his true self when he very cunningly took Grindelgraves to Modesty's house and play along with the ploy that she's the obscurus just to see what GG would do next. That's the point I was trying to make with the drawing actually haha maybe I should have included that in it > <

did not want to spoil you for Tina and Newt, in case you did not know but yes they're meant to end up together and are the grand parents of one of the coolest characters in HP, won't name who in case you don't know, so you can find out without spoil later on 
Completely, what about Modesty is what I thought too at the end. Both her step sister and step mom are dead, and her real family is not in the house when she gets there. Hope either Credence looks for her (and that she won't be scared of him anymore, because she is terrified of him both in script and film) or Tina. And I can't help feeling she is the one moving the belt away from her stepmom's hands, she is having eye contact with it the while time, not Credence, who is convulsing and busy fighting his obscurus. She has the fake ? wand too. And if Credence could do magic, he would not be an obscurus anyways, so that would be a shame also screenplay wise to have an interesting character like Modesty just as a decoy (to trick the viewer into thinking she is the obscurus ) and not see her afterwards. And Modesty would be an interesting character to keep because how would she feel and deal with her favorite brother killing her step sister and mom ? Because she does not know about obscurus and can't understand what happened, and actually neither do we viewers, really know to what extent is Credence responsible, or not, for these deaths. Could he have controlled it or not at all etc. Can't help but think it would be terrible if she spent her whole life thinking he meant them all harm whilst I'm almost sure he did not and just lost control. We do see him completely heartbroken and shell shock afterwards in the church. Modesty probably did not see and ran away before, convinced he was some kind of monster.
Difficult to know what Credence thinks and feels, as he keeps much to himself. Seems to me he learnt soon to get un-noticed in order to avoir punishment and that it may not have been indeed his real nature, had he been allowed to grow up in a healthy safe environment but that his real nature has been very much beaten out of him. He obviously lacks affection and self confidence badly but indeed, that does not in any way mean that he is not smart, on the contrary. Being all alone (as opposed to a follower in a group), he'd have time to observe others and think a lot. I don't know if he obeys GG by fear and confusion in taking him to Modesty (he's just hit him and told him to take him to his sister so I took it as shock and fear and obeying as a habit of a bullied person) or if he does intend to trick GG (could be actually). In any case, you are right that he does have some reserve towards GG because he could've told him from the start that he was the power he was lookind for, but he never did. Because he did not trust GG fully or did not trust himself enough to be that worthy of interest as to be the one GG looked for, don't know. GG did ask repeatedly for a child and he's not. Feels like a very much abused young man who just reaches breaking point after too much abuse. Now that his life is in his own hand, let's hope he can be happier and steers away from GG.

Actually (these are all fanfic speculations but i thought they made a lot of sense and are interesting as well) Modesty could also be a witch and might be on her way to being an obscurus too, maybe Mary Lou likes to collect magical children and try to beat the magic out of them. Maybe Credence has done accidental magic before which is why Mary Lou is so extreme with him, she had an indication of what he might be. And obscurus could also have done accidental magic, which is why they became obscurus, they realised they can do magic but somebody from the outside made them repress it and it makes no sense for Mary Lou to keep him if she knew he can do magic so maybe she wants to use him as an example that you can kill the magic in a person by beating them.
And also some fans made a timeline of the events, it makes sense actually for GG to be Graves for only two days which was why no one noticed the switch instead of impersonating him for a few months. That actually changes a few things in my head especially the relationship Credence had with Graves before GG.

Credence may survive actually, so don't miss him, if you look closely, a part of the obscurus is seen drifting away by Newt after its destruction. So there is hope for him
