Continuing my annual tradition of painting my favourite elf even if I have to give up sleep for it T u T Maedhros for Feanorian Week, for the prompts: kingship, torture, scars (somewhat fire). I really really want to draw the entire Feanorian family but I think I might only have time for Maedhros T u T

I really liked the full composition: the way he has this huge scar on his side and how the rest of him is βfracturedβ into smaller pieces; and it also makes me sad, because the part where heβs dressed with fine cloths is βdividedβ from his head, like that regal part of him is now separated from his own self.
and his eyes! he looks so sad!!
