Description
This is the second stage of the waterfall oil painting. In this stage, I mixed oil paints with Turpenoid and a little bit of oil and roughly blocked out the different areas, the relative colors and lights/darks. This is merely a guideline to build up from, and a way to get rid of all the blinding white canvas, which can be distracting.

It will be a few days before this layer dries enough to paint over it - so I have time to think about how to proceed from here. The next layer will surely be thicker paint, so that less of the canvas will be showing, and it will look less 'watercolory'. Subsequent layers will add additional details...
