I admire anyone who has the patience to make this kind of art on a regular basis. Shading using only lines drives me crazy after a short while, though I imagine the process could be meditative for some.So, the crow. A bird considered sacred to Apollo, who turned the bird black (which was previously white) for bringing him the bad news that his lover Coronis was having an affair with Ischys.

When i saw this the the features of Journal..
I stayed stoned heheh It remind me the film "The Crow" with Brandon Lee. Wonderful drawing there so detailed line

You used shading lines to match the texture (i.e., the flow of the feathers), which is really cool... I usually just make them all go one direction, which is much easier. But it is kind of relaxing, and then I just smear it all with my index finger at the end and clean up the undesirable smudges with my kneaded eraser.
Anyway, again, it looks really, really cool. =3

Wonderful work! I actually really like shading with just lines... its oddly therapeutic to me and same with scratch boards.
