Description
I admire anyone who has the patience to make this kind of art on a regular basis. Shading using only lines drives me crazy after a short while, though I imagine the process could be meditative for some.So, the crow. A bird considered sacred to Apollo, who turned the bird black (which was previously white) for bringing him the bad news that his lover Coronis was having an affair with Ischys.

Such a simple image but with so much detail! I can tell it look a lot of time and patience but the result is well worth it! Simply lovely. I adore crows and am loving this to bits :3

i just wanted to let you know this is simply beautiful. i've always loved this bird, and had decided a little while back to have my first tattoo be of a crow.
and you may be happy, or shocked, to know i'm basing my tattoo on your drawing, although i think i'll have the crow holding a bell instead of a key (personal reasons

It would certainly seem so! I'm currently working a lot with Apollo, which is where the crow ties in mostly for me right now. Though they're an interesting subject all on their own too. I can't wait to see more of your work involving them.

I love Crows, and I wish it wasn't very, very illegal in my country to tame them
There are so many lovely myths associated with the Crow Family. My favourite is about the Ravens, Hugin and Munin associated with Odin.

I have a painting in mind which will have crows in it, so I'm working out which poses I want in it. It will also feature a locked box, which is what the key is for.

Thanks, Katerina. My biggest worry with ink work is that I will make a big mistake near the end and ruin it, after having spent so much time on it.
