Uploading stuff I've had sitting around for quite a while but never got around to uploading...
(Durandus also did two other color options... I'll throw those in Scraps so people can see if they wish.)

Shark boobs, now in color!
The concept of shark human hybrids riding sharks into battle strikes me as a bit odd...
kind of like watching centaurs riding horses into battle... but in water.
In execution though I have to admit these guys look pretty badass and
the two tone shark-skin like coloring really adds to the effect.

But it's not like they are half and half like a centaur so it's more like a werewolf riding a wolf into battle. Which face it, that could be pretty vicious and bad ass!
I had color option, Durandus did two other versions (in Scraps) that both were also awesome... But I felt this one most quickly and naturally read shark at a glance and really sold the concept. (And stop checking out the shark boobs! Their eyes are up there!!)

Good point flying sharks makes it a
much more viable (and terrifying) concept.
Hmmm, but they can't transform (as far as I know) back
into full human form so it's not really like werewolves either.
More like lizardmen (which are non transforming hybrids and not ½ n ½
creatures) riding dragons into battle... which, like my original point
about centaurs, brings me back to the seemingly strangeness.

to agree with you. The version you chose reads
as shark right away, even as a thumbnail.

I think the werewolf comparison works. I'm talking about the state of being half man and half wolf, not the changing back and forth. And I think a vicious such being atop a large wolf would be kind of kickass, if a bit redundant. The sharks are not redundant, though... For the Shark hybrids cannot fly, whereas the shark sharks can! Or, rather, technically, swim through air

Well if they (the sharks) cannot transform but do give quick mobility they're not redundant.
I think they just need an awesome name to make nitpicky commenters

Personally I think of the shark mounts as Air Sharks. They also, occasionally, deliver candy grams.

Well they ran out of the 10lb and 12lb size so that
was the largest I could find on such short notice.
Just order 5 or 6 at a time and you'll be fine.
