Description
Nothing too major this time, but it does advance the plot along.The first stage of the Pandora's Gate arc has begun, and we implement the history of Mortal Kombat, while mixing a bit of Transformers in it by utilizing The Forge of Solus Prime, and The Enigma of Combination: both created by the Vaninhala, Boreas, and eventually passed down to the Cybertronian race he helps give life to. Yes, we're going IDW with the Transformers, which means none of the old creation stories apply. Spoiler alert: Boreas is the true Primus of the Sourceverse's Cybertron (main cybertron). Minus Unicron, it's a hybrid history of G1 and IDW, if that makes sense. I'll explain eventually.
But what I CAN explain is that he, and Reijuu, are the reason The Elder Gods of Mortal Kombat, or whatever name suits them, vanquished The One Being, and split his essence apart into The Kamidogu, and the six realms tied to them. Yes, Mortal Kombat is also a part of this series, as i'll eventually get to. But it's thanks to Reijuu Paladin Mode, and his Soul Saber, and The Talisman of Unity, that The One Being is defeated, and is reduced to the form of Onaga, who is then banished to Outworld for the rest of his days.
But we'll get into that another time. Just know that most of the Mortal Kombat timeline remains the same as it did in the original, up until Mortal Kombat 2 and 3. That's when The Earth Defenders will get involved in some serious stuff, and learn a bit more about the history of their past. Especially when Onaga comes around.

I'm thinking of making it a mix of the original and reboot timelines but without the temporal eff-ups. By the end, Shao Kahn will still obtain the power of Blaze, and be the final boss - only Raiden won't be sending an idiotically vague message to his past self. Instead, i'm taking a page out of Pyrus-Leonidas book, and having Raiden use his amulet to cast a spell to send his Earthrealm warriors to another realm: alive, and back to their old selves again. This way Shao Kahn stays juiced by Armageddon, gathers his allies to attack the Kuronigojiverse (our main earthrealm), where Raiden sent his warriors. The Shadow of Evil might even be involved. There's alot I can plan out, and i'm really excited about the prospects.

Don't do what? Copy and paste someone else's story to the letter? Relax, bud, that's not what i'm going to do. I explicitly said i'm going to do something SIMILAR - not the exact same story you're writing. For one thing, the MK characters aren't that important. Okay, that's not entirely true, but i'm not planning any pairings with them, if that's what you're afraid of. So i'm not stealing any ideas: in fact, I WAS gonna credit you for the idea when I eventually got to the Mortal Kombat segment. I'm still gonna, either way.
So please, with all due respect, don't assume i'm trying to copy one of your stories, or use an idea without giving credit. I'm not like that.

Trust me, it won't. If there's one thing I don't do, it's directly copy anything: I adapt, and base off of existing material, but add my own spin on it, just like every writer I know does. Though if it means that much to you, then perhaps I won't do the "Raiden sends everyone to another realm" plot, and think of something else. But Mortal Kombat is GOING to be integrated into this series. I might have mixed feelings about you right now, but you're still my friend and I won't do nothin' to upset or hurt you. You probably don't trust me, but I swear on my life you can trust me on this.

I forgive you, and I understand because i'm the same way. But you must realize I don't steal ideas from anyone: I base my ideas off of ones that I find interesting enough to use, and then try and make them unique to the original. I do this with my brother, Wolfblade, alot though i've......yet to actually set any of my plans into motion because my pathetic laziness keeps getting in the way.

A Godzilla and Mortal Kombat crossover, kickass
though it seems a bit unfair the game if Kaiju enter it(especially if Godzilla enters cause he would solo the MK verse) how would you balance it out with the usual MK characters like perhaps shrink the Kaiju and weaken their already godlike strength to their visitor/invaderβs levels or have the MK characters turned into Kaiju themselves?

The Earth Defenders might have something happen that makes them cybertronian-sized, or turn into humans for a time - probably courtesy of someone using an Eternity Gem on them. How else could I have kaiju interact with the MK characters. At best, they'll be anthromorphed, and basically transform into their kaiju forms in a similar manner digimon do. At least until they find a way to undo the effects of whatever cosmic spell was cast on them. Besides, with MK thrown in the mix, i'll have a means of getting Goji and his friends a means of travelling to other worlds other than Kingdom Hearts style. But to put it simply: it's just something I have to work out for the FAR future. Ideas don't just come when you want them to - they hit you in the head like an apple from a tree (Isaac Newton reference for the win.

Of course. The humans in this story are as important to me as their titanic protagonists and antagonists. And I always intended to make the Chronicles of War an expanded universe. That means being creative in certain ways.......like characters such as Izuku being able to knock the head off of an Antilock using OFA at full size, for example.

Well, just in case you don't look it up: there's a part in the show where Robotnik says to two of his henchmen "Snooping as usual, I see!". But the way he said it made it sound like "SnooPINGAS usual, I see!", and eventually people made that into a meme. Specifically the word PINGAS.
