Ooooh... a very interesting concept. Hmmm, its a tough call, especially given we don't see the full powers and strengths of either villain but I'm inclined to lean towards the Nightmare. For one thing, she's demonstrated lightning attacks, which harms the waters the Dark Avatar manipulates. And for another, she can become incorporeal as mist to teleport or slip away from almost any attack thrown at her. Despite the Vaatu and Unalaq having vastly greater size and strength, my guess is Luna will majorly own both of them.
Either way, I'd invest in lots of flashlights, light bulbs and lanterns.

Nightmare Moon is also capable of creating illusions (like the Shadowbolts). And in the comics, it's revealed that the Nightmare Mist that posessed Luna is the leader of a whole army of similar creatures, so yeah, definitely Nightmare Moon.
