This has actually been floating around on Twitter for a while, but I've decided to show this off. Apparently, Godzilla is going to appear in an upcoming anime movie adaptation of Shinkalion, an anime show centering around a group of young men and women piloting giant robots that can transform into trains. However, unlike the Godzilla vs Symphogear mobile game event that ended on the thirteenth of this month which just took an already established design of Godzilla and translated it to anime style, this time around, they're going the extra mile and giving us a new design altogether.

From the looks of this silhouette, this design of Godzilla seems to combine aspects of Shin-Goji (long tail, digitigrade legs, and shape of the dorsal fins) and the Heisei Godzilla (body proportions and head design).

As for what his role is gonna be... I have NO clue.
