In the advent of Zilla's birthday, I wanna say this. Zilla could've worked better as a separate monster altogether. In fact, in the 90's animated series, Godzilla: Final Wars and Rulers of Earth (heck, even Oblivion), Zilla is a relatively decent Kaiju who could work on his own. The problem was, his debut film was directed by a hack who snubbed Godzilla. I don't hate Zilla. I hate Roland Emmerich for trying to pass him off as Godzilla. In the right hands, he can work as his own Kaiju. Why do you think I constantly give this theroguana the Adaptational Badass treatment in my projects?
