I don't think Bane will break Batman's back. But one thing is for certain: Bane will seriously give Batman the ass-whooping of a lifetime during their first encounter. Especially when you take into account that it's an 8 year time gap between The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises so Bruce isn't in great shape since it's been implied that at some point he just quit being Batman.
