I know I mostly just draw silly comics and some of them aren't exactly what anyone would call high art....but seriously, I am passionate about good art pieces, and doing high quality Godzilla and kaiju art when I can. It's just so hard to find time. So when I feel happy with one, and I mean REALLY happy with one, it just gives me warm fuzzies reminding me why I love art so much. I'm also very, very fond of this design of Godzilla...not so much the animation quality they used to bring him to life, but I really do like Godzilla Earth a lot. Here's to May! Also I am available for commissions, just in case anyone ever wanted some affordable work

Ya know, while the idea of the anime trilogy was meh, I did like Godzilla Earth. He's unique.

The ideas would have been excellent if they had been executed better, but otherwise I pretty much agree with your assessment. Godzilla himself was interesting and cool in the film as he was, but the missed opportunity from dragging the plot along and Godzilla more or less standing around like a tree (irony intended) were not what most of us were hoping for. A better balance was definitely needed

I agree. Godzilla was just there. He didn't do much until the end of each movie.
Maybe one day in the future, we'll actually get a Godzilla anime. Like drawn anime. Not the CGI stuff.

Here's an interesting idea: How about drawing the Legendary Godzilla, Heisei Godzilla and Final Wars Godzilla teaming up to battle Godzilla Earth together? Like you did in your 'Godzilla: Kings and Bothers' comic.

Heh, if I did I'd get another round of angry people if I didn't keep them at their proper heights, which would be a little hilarious given Earth's, um, advantage on the basketball court shall we say XD

That was my point, actually, these 3 Godzillas are almost the exact same height, minus Legendary who is now only 19 meters taller than Heisei and Final Wars (which is not that much, give or take), especially compared to Earth's 318 meter height.
Basically, have the 3 heroic Godzillas facing off against the much larger Godzilla Earth. Sort of like how Godzilla, Rodan and Mothra faced off against King Ghidorah in 'Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monsters (1964)'.

I kinda prefer how he said it in the English Dub. I don't know why, but to me, "King of Destruction" doesn't exactly have the same punch as "King of the Monsters".

I like both but personally I'm with you Ian. Hearing the English dub actor for Metphies say "King of The Monsters" just makes you as a Godzilla fan giddy because it feels like they're acknowledging you by doing that

Nick and I are suspicious about him and the aliens. he seems like he wants the humans to be killed by their god, aka, Godzilla. The way he just watches the humans suffer his wrath shows he doesn't care for humanity's survival.
