This is one of those "glad I got it when it was new" situations, because I definitely did not pay modern prices for it. This sucker is heavy due to largely being die-cast metal other than a couple of pieces, which gives it a nice heft and makes it look especially convincing in the right light. I am a big fan of this redesign of the Gotengo and it just looks massive and impressive in the middle of all my other relatively little Toho craft and ships. Now that I look at it though it's kinda funny how it's a long black design with a running red light all along the side.....kinda like a certain Legendary pair of parasites XD I'm not saying anything, just thought it was funny.Kaijukid Comics website: www.kaijukidcomics.com/

At the time I got it back around 2009 or so it really didn't, but the toy hadn't gotten jacked up so badly at that point. I've bought some ridiculously expensive figures over 20 years but I know my limits with pieces like this one

I guess I didn't think of them being particularly rare, but I imagine the ships don't tend to get quite as much attention in figure and model form as the kaiju do now that I think about it.
