The hype is real right now for Godzilla vs Kong naturally, but while I am excited for it beyond a doubt I am a few degrees more excited for Godzilla: Singular Point because it looks like an absolute smorgasbord of Showa kaiju, and the first wave of Bandai vinyl has just released which also got me pretty jazzed. First up we've got the new anime Godzilla, apparently dubbed "Godzilla Ultima", and like most of the monsters in this series the design is pretty radical but still has a lot of good stuff going for it. I'm not a big fan of the tusks on the cheeks, and the arms are a little small ala Shin, but on the whole I really like this design and look forward to seeing it in action. It's a shame there's no red on the backplates to make it look a little more accurate, but Bandai vinyl while I love them don't always have the best paint schemes, especially these days. Seriously hope they keep making these for this anime, I'd love to get the whole kaiju cast in the Movie Monsters vinyl series but that's a HUGE line if they do.
