Thanks to a little trading action with a friend I was finally able to get my hands on a figure I've wanted for a long old time but never took a bite on because the cost was too high. I have Trendmasters Godzilla 98 figures from the time the movie came out, and I have nostalgic love for those toys but it annoyed me that they never really looked that great for capturing the look of the monster. Yeah they capture the essence but the finer details were lacking and capturing screen accuracy, and while the POSTURE on this figure is a little off I don't mind because the sculpt is fantastic for its size of about 4, 4 1/2 inches. No matter your feelings on the movie (and believe me, I'm tired of the heated feelings from either side after all these years about this movie), I love the design and the show this movie spawned and my goal has always been to have at least one good figure of every monster, and with this I feel content I've obtained my ideal figure from the 1998 movie.
