Description
It's no secret that the Neca Mothra figure for the King of the Monsters film did not include the larva, nor has Bandai so far as of this posting released one of their own. I'm sure at some point SOMEBODY will release a figure of some kind for it, but for the sake of it I decided to try my own hand at it. Trying to mimic the greenish energy she emits on the figure itself didn't really work out like I'd hoped, but other than that it was a fun little side project.

Yeah, I wish they had included a larva figure of some kind, still don't have a larva mothra figure for my collection, granted thats partially because I've long prioritized acquiring other monsters for my collection, but I'd like at least a tiny figure of the new Monsterverse Mothra Larva, very cool new look for her. Nice work with this little custom figure, nice detail work!

If there's one thing I feel like Bandai Japan can be reliably depended on is that sooner or later they tend to make a figure of EVERYTHING, in one form or another, so I'm not too worried about getting an official one eventually, I was just let down hoping it would be included with my Neca Mothra

I generally like the redesign of the monsters that appeared in the film, but I didn’t care for the larvae mothra, it reminds me more of a pill bug than a caterpillar. But that’s only my opinion.
Your work and details on this figure is superb, I Hope that Bandai or another company gives us figures of the other minor monsters that were in the film, I really like the Behemoth, the first woolly mammoth kaiju ever, to my knowledge.

Thanks, and ooooh I would die for a nice set of the minor Titans, but I have a feeling that's gonna be a hopeless wait. I'll keep an eye out for them, but if not then I have another bunch of kaiju that are definitely gonna get added to my little series of home-made figures here.

I really liked the Behemoth Titan too, kinda surprising it took so long for someone to make a mammoth themed kaiju, or rather a giant ground sloth/mammoth themed kaiju XD. I also hope they make figures for all of these extra monsters at some point, I know their roles were minor overall but I'd still like to add them to my collection so they can bow to my SH Monster Arts Titanus Gojira

Many thanks, the larva isn't even one of my favorite kaiju but I feel they all deserve the best work and attention they can be given. Hoping for official pics from the studio eventually so I might be able to take a second crack at it for accuracy.
