He's got a great design. I know Zyu2 doesn't have a story to it, but I like to call him Dora Harpy to go along with the themes of the original.

I've been watching "MMPR" on Netflix recently, and I'm not too far away from the episode this guy is featured in.

It's kind of amazing how much mileage they got out of that stock footage.Β It's still a lot of fun to watch, but it's definitely not one of my childhood shows that's aged the best, I can't help now but notice all the little points where the Japanese and American versions clash with each other, but hey that is half the fun.

I noticed that too, but it's still pools of fun, and that's what counts IMO.
I'd go so far as to say that what was filmed specifically for PR is superior to how they adapted the original Zyuranger footage. Far better coordination with the show's premise and characters (for obvious reasons), and a lot better monsters. Zyuranger had some greats, but I don't think there's a Zyu2 monster I haven't liked. And there's a bunch from Zyuranger, especially early on, that were stinkers. Again, IMO.
