I'm a little confused why it's MegaguriusΒ being roasted and eaten and not Ebirah. Wait, wait, let me guess it's a reference to how when Rodan hatched he ate all the Meganulon.

I know why. Because in the original 1956 film, Todan age the Meganulon creastres, those are just the larval stage for Meganula. The queen is called Megaguirus.
