Every year at GFest one of my favorite activities is gathering with friends in the lobby area of the convention center, chatting and just drawing whatever we can think of, and sometimes those doodles are good enough that I want to go the whole distance and finish it up in color so here was one of my favorites, Rodan as either the Luck Dragon from Neverending Story or the eagle from the criminally underrated Rescuers Down Under, which has by far one of the greatest moments in animation history with that opening scene of the eagle. I mean come on, barring the heat what kid WOULDN'T want to ride Rodan 2019 like this?
