In 1991, reports were coming from the city limits of a UFO which soon landed to reveal the beings in it to be time traveling despots who said they had come to save the Country but only if they were given complete control, this was completely denied and the future people were to be placed under arrest. This was when the Futurians released their secret weapon a bio-engineered cyborg Ghidorah called Mecha-King Ghidorah who quickly began destroying Tokyo until Godzilla, still in the area from his prior battle with Biolantte, rose from the sea and a terrible fight broke out between the two monsters. Godzilla destroys the Futurians and their ship and continues to battle the cyborg beast which grabs Godzilla with huge mechanical claws and cables and carries Godzilla out over the ocean where Godzilla's heat beam causes the machine monster to explode and Godzilla to plummet to the water below.
