You know, it's funny that even outside the context of your joke, the yellow Zord in this series seems to be the odd one out with its respective beast/vehicle modes, since the other two main Zords both have their two modes having a thematic connection. Like, a cheetah with a racecar mode makes sense, because they're both commonly associated with speed, a gorilla and a truck are both bulky and powerful (and were perfect fodder for TRUKK NOT MUNKY jokes even before Hasbro bought PR), while rabbits and helicopters both... exist, I guess?Β Β

Oh sorry, I thought you knew already and were just joking (well, more than you already were). Like I said in the previous comment, in the Sentai and thus also in the upcoming series, each ranger's robot has both a beast and vehicle mode, so I guess Matt drew the yellow one in copter mode because that looks a lot cooler than a tiny mecha-rabbit running around.Β

Sort of. It actually transforms from rabbit to helicopter. The Gorilla can also become a truck and the cheetah a sportscar and a humanoid robot, which becomes the core of the Megazord.

It gets even better: In Japan Gorisaki Banana, the Gorilla/Truck, is voiced by Tesho Genda, who also voices Optimus Prime.
