As Earth descended into chaos during the Kilaak Invasion, Operation: Final War was nearing its climax. Captain Gordon, Dr. Otonashi and the young, inexperienced soldier Ozaki piloted the Gotengo III on the Kilaak Mothership with what little force they had left, Godzilla himself not far behind. There, within the mothership, the Regulator waited, bouncing his knee in excitement...
MONSTER X is perhaps one of the most dangerous daikaiju to ever appear on Earth, largely because it is not merely a kaiju. The Regulator, the Earthling-Xillian hybrid son of Astronaut Glenn and Miss Namikawa, had been waiting for decades of his abnormally long life to carry out his grand drama on Earth. Now, moving towards the last act of his play, he activated a massive genetic-mutating agent in his body, flooding his system with the catalystic energy necessary to mutate himself into a brand new hybrid: Humanoid and GHIDORAN. His skeleton erupted from his body, becoming a bizzare armor, his skin and muscles turned black as death, and his already warped mind pushed beyond the limits of the mortal capacity.
Monster X and Godzilla squared off at Mt. Fuji, while the rest of the monster army watched in awe. The radioactive dinosaur and mutated alien proved to be an even match for one-another, but X hadn't counted on a major factor: that his power was exactly what Ghidorah itself needed to be reborn: after being all but beaten by Godzilla, the space monster's consciousness, which had been fermenting in the Regulator's mind his whole life, finally had enough power to take his revenge. X's body erupted in an almost ceremonious fashion, and Ghidorah was reborn, his body aglow with the power of KAISER GHIDORAH! Now it is up to Godzilla, Rodan, Mothra, Battra, King Caesar, Angurius, Titanosaurus, Zilla, Kumonga, Kamacuras, Gorosaurus and the Gotengo to defeat the King of Terror and the Kilaak Forces once and for all!

- Able to levitate/"fly" for a good distance
- Gravity Bolts from eyes
- Can focus alien chi into attacks

Godzilla Neo is KaijuSamurai's own fan continuity, which sort of melds all the different Godzilla/Toho series into a single timeline, with some of his own artistic license thrown in.

I actually liked this original form of Monster X's a lot more than his Ghidorah form, the Ghidorah form just looked like a fake rip off of the actual golden Ghidorah. Nice work and great pose.

Monster X IS King Ghidorah. Apparently that was his beginning form or "Pre-evolved state" as Toho once called it.

Well depends on what series of "Godzilla" you're referring to as there's been several origins of Ghidorah's existence but yea You're right. I'm meaning by comparing the Kaiser Ghidorah look with the more well known golden Ghidorah that's been seen before. I did like Kaiser Ghidorah's colors but the 4 tall legged body with the small wings and lack of mobility, (short of the heads), just looked rather fake and impractical which was what I was trying to get at.

Better then a another Furry design monster in my opinion too many of Godzilla's monsters are too Human like which makes them Furries.

Though entertaining, Final Wars isn't one of the stronger movies in the series. It's just too wacky and unfocused to take too seriously, especially as a 50th anniversary.
In my own opinion, GMK would've been a more appropriate cinematic send off: It returns Godzilla to his dark, destructive roots (not to mention that it's the ORIGINAL Goji we're dealing with); it pits him against two of his most notable adversaries as well as a lesser-known fan favorite, it boasts likable human characters, and it leaves us with A bit of a cliffhanger, reminding us that Godzilla never stays gone forever...
Monster X, though is a pretty interesting monster. Really wish they had kept hims as an entirely septerate entity, instead as an alternate form of Ghidorah.

I love this drawing. I was dissapointed with this character though, it was the coolest Gojira character ever created then it turned out to be a bland old character.

Now that I think about it.... a person turning into a giant creature with muscles showing and has armor on it with a sentient mind? Dude I think you created one of the concepts for attack on titan before it came out!

I know, it's relatively old, but it'd be nice to come look back at these things without being full of all that constant hormonal, teenage rage.
This is definitely one of the stronger redesigns in the series. While I've never really *dis*liked Monster X's design, it always felt rather plain to me. This refines it quite nicely.
The concept of a humanoid martial artist type monster is something we got a hint of in Zone Fighter, but never really seemed to stick. This definitely harkens back to that, with a decidedly modern style. It fits in with the mythos, but it's also distinct and gives us something a bit different.
The more humanoid figure actually highlights Monster X's defining traits nicely and gives him a very distinct look, simplistic or not. The idea of making it an Xillian grown giant is a nice way to capture that sense that Gigan was the Xillian commander's avatar in kaiju form(While keeping Gigan himself in a more familiar role).
All in all, it's a very strong new take.
