Its funny (long story short), I created this OC (a shapeshifter) and gave him the name Tyrannus.Β From there, I wanted him to have a common shapeshift form of a Monstrous Tyrannosaurus Rex.Β Now here's the kick..............when I saw this, I realized the design I was doing matched exactly to this.Β Felt like a Deja Vu, XD.Β Β Β Anyhow, the appearance of the Mutant Tyranno plus the color scheme is perfection.Β Giving the creature a "devilish" appearance, like it just walked right out of hell, lol.

I personally think Godzillasaurs evolved from an unknown theropod dinosaur and tyrannosauridae just dosn't fit Godzilla's description your right but spinosauridae fits the bill to some extent no other group of theropods that we know of had such extravagant sails and the plates could be some evolved form of this i think we should really put him in his own group though due to his amphibious nature no known theropod spent anywhere near as much time in the water as Godzilla

The Godzillasaurs are direct decendents of the Tyrannosaurs, Godzillasaurus even looks like T-rex,besides why do you think Godzilla hates KingGhidorah so much, Ghidorah did murder thousands of his kind.
