I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon, since everyone ELSE seems to be doing it
Not to mention it makes a nice New Years treat!The early reports of the new Godzilla design described it as "fat." A crude description at best, but when I saw the blurry photograph at the top-right there, I imagined that the design direction wasn't so much corpulent as it was "thick."
"Monstrously thick" were the words that came to mind. A mountain of a creature, unbelievably powerful and undeniably unstoppable. I approached this hypothetical design in a similar fashion to a paleontologist's anatomical reconstructions - using the little information I had, not to mention the previous works of as inspiration, this is what I'm anticipating to be lurking behind all that blurr and smoke.

I would've preferred this over what we got... And I think Vishnu would've been cooler, giant centipede vs giant lizard! Maybe Vishnu, Godzilla and the winged muto? A boy can dream can't he? I'm not saying their choice was bad just saying I might've preferred that.
