Ah, a personal favorite pic of mine, starring Zilla Jr. and Komodithrax, a monster from one of the later episodes of Godzilla: The Series. She was touted as a one-time mate for the mutant iguana...thing...then died (allegedly).I nicknamed her "Komi"

I am actually disappointed with that episode. This little story could've been explored on in more detail but it was quickly brushed aside.
Ignoring the complaint, your art is really awesome for this. It really illustrates how that episode should've been.

This is so good. My favorite part of this is Zilla's expression towards his mate in that he will do whatever it takes to protect her. This is why the Kaiju genre is my favorite genre of movies. They are more than just monsters.

After watching this episode i really hated turtles for a long time. So much so i really wanted to see a episode were Zilla Jr's mate returned or at least brought back to life like they did his dad but actually broke from there control. I wonder why they didnt have Zilla and his cyborg turned dad actually fight together. That would have been cool.

I always hated that turtle kaiju for what he did to Komodithrax. Always nice to see Junior here get some love. He was always twice the monster his old man was.

I know. Every time I watch it on Youtube, at the end where G-man looks down the crevice and roars, I feel for sure that he's screaming out "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO". Β That's what really nails it home, his yearning for his lost love.

Why is it that, whenever ANYBODY draws Junior, people start talking in the comments like "oh I HATED the movie but the cartoon was SO much better"? Why can't we just accept that the movie exists and get over it? I swear.
Anyway, it's an adorable picture. I wish Komi had been around longer, we could have had some interesting character development there :/ But I guess it would have derailed the show too much to include her for long.

I saw the movie, and it wasn't that bad. At least it had some decent action scenes in it. That's what I feel is most important, not accuracy. I'm not one to go into heckling mode over something like that.

This was my favorite episode of the series. I like this better then the original movie Godzilla remake because it was terrible. The show however stayed true to the original because of Zilla Jr's atomic breath and the fact he fought other giant monsters (mutants)
