Ok,so I'm using this as a desktop imagine (the non-animated version),and i'm seriously considering .. maybe printing it,buying a frame and hanging it from one of my walls. The colours you've used, the style,it's... it's scary and it reminds me of a picture one of my grandmothers used to have,of a house covered in snow.Very, very intriguing!

Thank you! I rarely put him into calm scenes, it fits the best the moment with the uncorrupted Pillars in the background.

Nice job, the snowfall is very charming.
Like ~Darkblood89 said, it looks almost
like a seasonal card. xD
The serenity of the still snowfall in the
original painting by itself is much more
beautiful, I think, but this flow is very
enjoyable to watch, too. (One of your
most beautiful paintings, I think, unusual
for you in it's calmness, though you make
the inner fire and emotions appear wonderfully,
beneath that calmness. The composition of the
image really presents everything hidden in that
last line of the game, with him standing by,
looking on the pillars like that. Even the coat
has it, even if it is an unusual choice for him,
as you said. xD )
I love all of the snowy scenes in the games,
particularly Defiance. They give a 'certain something'
to the game's atmosphere that the swamps and
wreckage rampant in some games just don't deliver.

Thank you so much
Yes, the original artwork can be hanged to my wall while this Flash is more like made as fun than serious work.
I love the last line in Defiance, summarizing all the events of the previous games (SR1-2) brought Kain a chance for success right in the same era where his BO1 self got cornered and forced into a situation where he had no way out.
Snow and cold is more realistic if the character is dressed up warm, I used Kain's outfit from the Canyons, and put a coat on him too.
Same here about the snowy scenes, I relate snow with the purity of Nosgoth as all snowy scenes playing in the Ancient era before the corruption, but it's quite gloomy, and has a silence before the storm feeling I like so much about it

Yes, I know what you mean.
It's my favorite line in the series!
That's one of the really good things
about the time travel, being able to
travel through different phases of
Nosgoth gives a more personal feel
than just saying "it was nice and then
it was ruined." Though, I would've
liked to have seen more places like
King Ottmar's castle and such.
The best thing about this little flash,
though, is that I can look at it without
the gigantic watermark..
It's so unfortunate that you have to use
those things.

That was great in the games to see Nosgoth in the different eras, it looked so untouched and uncorrupted in the ancient era, and the white snow also associates with purity, but it still carried a threatening in the air as the peaceful scenery was decorated with the bodies of executioned vampires. I also liked the surrealistic underworld below Avernus when Kain was on the way to claim the Reaver.
Hehe the good thing about Flash is it prevents the work from recolour thieves, and my stamp can't be removed from it
Thieves always upsetting me, especially when some high-and-mighty digital artists who doesn't give a crap about artists like me, but they don't mind building up their scenes based on my paintings. That's the newest [link]

I see! Yes, the two images are very similar.. It's sort of
a more 'inderect' art theft, which I think most artists are at
least a little guilty of, though hopefully not to the extent.
It's like making a drawing of a drawing, instead of something
from the heart, right? Which makes it something very sad...
Like what pissed off the main character of Le Portrait de
Petite Cossette, when he was trying to paint the little girl,
Cossette, but didn't know that the real Cossette had died
the final death, and he was really painting the Cossette as
painted by another artist, Marcello, which had come to life,
and so he was painting the painting, and not the actual girl.
What I mean is, if someone painted a copy of the Mona Lisa,
it's not a painting of the girl in the painting, but a painting of
the painting... Well, I guess that's all very obvious, but I hadn't
really thought of it in that context before... I often use tons
upon tons of references when drawing people, and coloring.
So in a way, using all of those reference is sort of like drawing
a picture of the references and not my own drawing.. In a way,
it's deplorable, isn't it? As bad even as what was done to your
image, though most current artists are guilty of it, since I think
live modelling isn't nearly as common anymore... I've always
thought of it as using the references as a medium to take what's
in your mind, into form... But it's just a terrible, lame excuse,
in this way... Even if you try your best to make the image
look nothing like the references..
Ah, now I'm downloading Le Portrait de Petite Cossette, so I
can watch it again... I remember loving the end, where he
painted her in his blood as it fell from his torn and ruptured
stomache, and the insects were all flying away, from the
burning building.. I'm a sucker for this type of romantic
imagery.. ;_; The soundtrach was so lovely, too..! Yuki
Kajiura is a personal favorite... I've gotten off track, sorry.
